The Levenhuk Wezzer Cook MT40 Kitchen Thermometer is a useful kitchen appliance that measures the cooking temperature of the dish and warns you if it rises too high. With this thermoprobe, meat will no longer burn and pastries will always be soft and fluffy. Levenhuk Wezzer Cook MT40 can also be a versatile home thermometer as it can measure air, water and even the temperature of the floor. It gives accurate readings when placed in a portable cooler bag or a cup of brewed tea. If needed, the device can even be used as a clinical thermometer to measure your body temperature when you feel unwell.
The device can measure the temperature of food in °C and °F. The temperature range is very wide, which extends its range of use. The device has a robust design so that the device can work for many years. The housing is made of ABS plastic and complies with protection class IP65: it can withstand accidental jets of water and even a fall into water.
The temperature readings are shown on the integrated display. The large digits make it easy to read; there is also a backlight. There are three operating keys next to the display: °C/°F (unit of measurement conversion), "HOLD" (hold the current temperature) and "ALARM/SET" (alarm/settings). The unit is battery-operated. To save battery power, there is an automatic switch-off function. The display backlight automatically turns off after 5 seconds and the unit turns off after 10 minutes.
